Meet Brendan Parker, MD
Throughout my years of playing multiple sports including volleyball in college and competing in two Ironman 140.6 events, I always knew I wanted to help athletes recover from injuries to get back out competing at whatever level they desired to play at, whether that is high school, collegiately or a weekend warrior.
I originally grew up in Seattle but studied in multiple states across the US. After attending the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Ohio, I moved to Chicago, IL to complete an Emergency Medicine residency. While in Chicago, I had the opportunity to volunteer in medical tents for multiple events across the city and found my training made me an expert in emergency care for athletes but I desired more about long term management of sports injuries. At the end of residency, I went on to fellowship in Non-Operative Sports Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. After completion, I returned back to Seattle to practice both Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine.
I reside in Seattle with my wife and two daughters. As a family, we love exploring the city and attending various sports events. Even though my Ironman competition days are behind me, I still take pleasure in playing soccer and running along the Burke-Gilman. I love being active and I strive to bring that passion to the care I provide all of my patients.
